The Biology Class 12 boards are going to be a nightmare for you if you’re not up to scratch with your knowledge. Frankly, it’s a really tough class and one that requires a lot of skill. Lucky for you, we’ve compiled a list of 10 tips on how to get the best results from online courses! No one knows what’s going to be on the board- sometimes there’s nothing from the syllabus but sometimes they throw in something completely random. The best thing is to ensure that you have all parts of biology well covered- from invertebrates and plants, through human life cycles and evolution. That way, you’re ready for anything!

Practice in the class is essential- this sounds obvious but it’s not something that everyone understands. The best way to prepare for boards is through practice. Days before the actual board, ask your teacher to give you a mock test- this will get your brain into test mode and help you stay focused. It’ll also let you know what areas to focus on and where exactly you’re lacking so that you can put in some more time there. Don’t panic if you don’t understand something- biology is very difficult and it can be hard to remember everything so try not to panic if there’s something that isn’t sticking.

1. Read NCERT

The best way to prepare for boards is by reading the NCERT books. The only thing better than reading a book is re-reading it again and again till you’re absolutely sure that you’ve got it right. Study the NCERT syllabus and see what things they ask on each board, then look at them in your textbook again and again until you know them by heart. Biology is a tough subject but if you know what’s going on, it’s going to be even easier!

2. Sign up for exams

You’re going to have to sit for a lot of exams in your life- this is a fact. It might not necessarily be for tests or mock tests but usually, it’s for the boards. Those who prepare well enough will perform better in exams because you’ll know what you’re talking about and you’ll be able to explain things much better. Make sure that you sit for exams regularly- push yourself even if you don’t feel like it! Some people suggest that people who excel in the subject usually do so because of their work ethic- those who work hard end up excelling in areas where they put time and effort into. You can also find an App or Platform that “sell courses online”. It makes it easy for board preparations.

Some people call these things mnemonics but you can use anything to help you remember- it doesn’t have to be related to biology at all! you’ll know what to say- they’re going to be asking fairly simple questions so your chances of passing are high if you know this stuff! This is a good way to improve your score.
