Can I apply to study in FUD with score below 180?
The answer is simply NO. You need to meet the minimum JAMB UTME requirements set by the school management to study in FUD.
Only candidates who have met the following requirements are eligible to participate in the exercise.
- Candidates must have chosen Federal University Dutse as First Choice and scored a minimum of 160 points and above in the 2018 UTME or applied for Direct Entry (DE).
- Must have registered in Federal University Dutse Post UTME Portal.
- Must have obtained minimum of live (5) relevant credit passes including English Language and Mathematics in SSCE (or its equivalent) in not more than two sittings for both UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates.
- Must have possessed 2018 UTME result slip.
- Must have obtained at least Lower Credit at National Diploma (ND) in a relevant course, and minimum of eight (8) points with relevant subject combination at NCE and IJMB for Direct Entry (DE) admission
How To Calculate FUD Aggregate Score 2020
Since the introduction of JAMB CAPS, every school is required to make JAMB score weigh at least 50% of the total aggregate score of their candidates.
The Federal University, Dutse has employed a 50:50 JAMB and Post UTME system in calculating the aggregate point.
JAMB carries 50% and Post UTME carries 50% of the total aggregate score.
So, a good O’level result will help you get a higher aggregate score in FUD.
