I agree with you. What capital education institutes are really supposed to do is provide a better learning experience for students. For example, if you attend a school that offers courses on the computer and you want to learn how to code, you can do that at Capital Education Institutes. If you are looking for a college for a career in IT, you won’t do well at any school because they won’t be able to help you.
Capital education institutes are a type of private college. With that said, I do agree with you. You can learn about programming from a computer lab, or from a university, or from a private class. There are a lot of schools that offer programming courses, but they’re not typically what I would consider “education.
I’m not saying that you should take every single programming class you learn at every college. But I do think that you should take a few classes at every college to broaden your horizons. I’m not saying you should take an entire computer science class, but if it is available, it might be worth your while. Also, there are a lot of open source courses that are good for someone who’s interested in programming, but not for everyone.
I have a feeling that you’re not really trying to build a library for your students in order to make them spend more time with you. You haven’t been to one, or at least to one, of these libraries before.
Just to give you the benefit of the doubt, it seems that nobody knows how much more fun it would be to have students learn about programming. While it’s true that every time you open an IDE and make an object model, you get to learn about it, not about teaching or something like that. So there are two ways to learn something: one way is to learn about it and then one way is to make it. That’s called making something out of it.
It’s this second way. In a virtual classroom, students learn by making something. They make something, they create it. That’s the real deal. It’s all there. But then they leave the classroom and go out and find jobs. Their programming skills aren’t going to help them land those jobs in the real world. So they go out and find another way to learn. They do it by creating something.
This is a great example of the difference between the two ways of learning. With making something you are learning from the experience of doing it, and with creating something you are learning to do it. You’re learning about how to learn and you’re learning about how to solve problems. Both are great, but you’re certainly learning something different.
